Sheboygan Police investigate a stabbing. One person was arrested and there is no danger to the public.
On Thursday 7/22/21, at 4:46p.m., officers were sent to the area of S. 17th Street and Niagara Ave for a report of a stabbing. Officers arrived and located a 31-year-old Sheboygan man who had been stabbed in the back. He was taken to Memorial hospital where he received initial treatment. The victim was eventually transported to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee with non-life-threatening injuries. No property was taken by the suspect. The exact motive remains unknown, although both the victim and suspect are acquaintances.
Later in the evening, officers arrested the suspect, a 54 year-old Sheboygan man. He was taken to jail and referred to the Sheboygan County District Attorney’s Office for charges of 2nd Degree Reckless Endangerment.
