Stolen Vehicle Recovery/Arrests

On 07/23/21 at 3:16pm, Janesville Patrol Officers observed a stolen vehicle from Whitewater, WI at the gas pumps at 108 Center Av. Contact was made with the four occupants of the vehicle who fled on foot.  The driver Trevion Church was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit in the 100 blk of S. Locust St.  A passenger, Thomdrecus Ross went inside the gas station and was taken into custody without incident.  Another passenger a 17 year old male fled on foot running west.  A large perimeter and search of the area with K9 Fred lead to the area of Rockport Rd. and S. Walnut St.  The 17 year old passenger was observed on the bike trail by a citizen who alerted officers.  He was taken into custody without incident. 

All subjects were held at the Rock County Jail.  At this time the investigation is ongoing to locate the 4^th passenger who fled on foot.  Several citizens provided information to officers during the incident which assisted in the apprehension of these subjects.
