* Flash Flood Warning for... Northern Wayne County in southeastern Michigan...

* Until 100 AM EDT.

* At 859 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Livonia, Taylor, Grosse Pointe, Downtown Detroit, Canton, Detroit, Dearborn, Wyandotte, Northville, Greenfield Village, Belle Isle, Westland, Dearborn Heights, Lincoln Park, Allen Park, Garden City, Inkster, Hamtramck, Grosse Pointe Woods and Harper Woods. This includes the following highways... I-94 between mile markers 204 and 225. I-96 between mile markers 168 and 192. I-275 between mile markers 27 and 29. I-75 between mile markers 41 and 58. M-10 between mile markers 1 and 12. M-39 between mile markers 6 and 10. M-14 between mile markers 20 and 21.
