Haubstadt woman arrested on multiple charges.
On July 25, 2021, at 11 p.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a 911 call of a disturbance at the Baymont Inn located at 12798 Access 1250 South near Haubstadt, Indiana. Upon arriving Deputy Garrett Tuley was encountered 27-year-old Emma Minton-Pohl of Haubstadt, who was behaving loud and erratic by yelling at other guests at the business. Deputy Tuley attempted to speak with Ms. Pohl, but she continued to be loud and non-compliant. After being asked to leave the property Ms. Pohl went to a neighboring business and continued to behave loud and erratic despite being given several opportunities to correct her behavior. Deputy Tuley ultimately placed Ms. Pohl into custody and transported her to the Gibson County Jail where she was charged with Disorderly Conduct, Intimidation of a Police Officer, and Criminal Mischief. She remains in custody on a $1250 bond.
