On July 20, 2021, two adult female victims reported being sexually assaulted during a massage at Mayflower Spa located at 2421 E. Valley Parkway. The suspect was described as an Asian male adult. Escondido Police detectives conducted an investigation of the business and followed up on the reported cases. Detective Udvarheyli arrested Hengwei Chi, date of birth10/6/73, for PC243.4  - Sexual Battery. Chi was booked into Vista Detention Facility.
