Message from Chief Ronald Haddad regarding possible severe weather conditions this evening
Message from Chief Ronald Haddad:
The National Weather Service is predicting strong to possible severe thunderstorms this evening into the early morning hours of Thursday, July 29th. Some of these storms may produce heavy rain fall. The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for our area, with total rain fall possible of 1-3 inches.
Dearborn Police will be monitoring the city for signs of flooding and severe weather.
Please report any street flooding to the police department at 313.943.3030.
If severe weather is observed or flooding becomes a hazzard, the City may sound the Outdoor Emergency Sirens to alert residents of the weather conditions. Please stay vigilant and be proactive to protect your property and vehicles during, yet again another heavy rain fall.
