On July 28, 2021 at approximately 0045 hours, the Seward Police Department, Seward Fire Department, and Seward Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded to the report of a serious injury accident involving a dirt bike with a passenger on Nash Road.

The preliminary investigation found that a male driver operating a dirt bike with a female passenger near 4.5 Mile Nash Road made contact with the guard rail, resulting in both riders being thrown from the bike.  The male and female both sustained serious injuries and were transported to the local hospital.

The accident is still under investigation.
