Yesterday there were numerous calls regarding the quality of the water, and that there was air in the lines. The utility department began flushing water lines and advising those that reported issues to let their cold water run for a while.

In addition, KDHE was contacted...KDHE is here today and investigating the matter and also taking up to 40 or 50 water samples from the area that was affected...they are being escorted by Utility Department employee Dan Marstall.
