On 08-02-2021 at 8:55pm, deputies responded to a domestic battery call at the Northwind apartments on Goldenrod Ave. It was reported that the suspect, 30 year old Donald Pearson had battered several victims, and had also fired a handgun inside of the apartment during the altercation. Upon deputies arrival, the victims were all outside of the apartment and told deputies that they believed Donald was still in the apartment and armed with the handgun. The THPD/VCSO Special Response Team was called to the scene. Eventually it was determined that Donald had fled the apartment prior to deputies arrival, and was later arrested at THPD headquarters were he turned himself in. Donald was charged with criminal recklessness, pointing a firearm and domestic battery. He was then transported to the Vigo County Jail. John Plasse Vigo County Sheriff
