City seeking input for multi-family housing design standards at tonight's Planning Commission meeting. 
The Lakeport Planning Commission will be hosting a study session with Mintier Harnish regarding Objective Design Standards and an overview of Accessory Dwelling Unit requirements on August 4, 2021 at 5:30 pm.
As part of the 2017 Legislative Housing Package, Senate Bill 35 requires that local jurisdictions provide a streamlined approval process for multi-family housing which include objective design standards. Additionally, there have been numerous bills to promote the development of Accessory Dwelling Units. The City contracted with Mintier Harnish to provide guidelines.
The meeting will be conducted both in person (with restrictions), and telephonically through Zoom.
