Full Notification

On August 5, 2021, at 9:52 a.m. Sergeant Roger Ballard investigated allegations that 44-year-old Brian Fetcher of Owensville had violated a restraining order that he had been served earlier in the day.  Upon speaking with the victim Sergeant Ballard collected evidence and statements.  Sgt. Ballard then located Mr. Fetcher and collected statements and evidence from him.  At the conclusion of his investigation Sgt. Ballard placed Mr. Fetcher into custody and had him transported to the Gibson County Jail.  Mr. Fetcher was charged with Invasion of Privacy.  He has since posted a $650 bond.
 
Assisting Sgt. Ballard in his investigation was Deputies U.B. Smith and Jennifer Robb.
 
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
