The Flood Warning continues for the Kickapoo River at Ontario.
* From this evening to Monday morning.
* At 7:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 17.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:45 PM CDT Saturday was 17.7 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.9 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon.
* Impact...At 18.0 feet, Flooding occurs along the river in the Ontario area. Water may be over Highway P near Bridge 10, and also over Winchell Valley Road at Bridge 8.
* Impact...At 21.5 feet, Bottom of bridge deck is flooded.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 19.4 feet on 09/22/2016.
