DWI arrest 
On August 8, 2021, an Easton PA man was arrested for DWI following a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 202. Patrick Noel was stopped at 0222 hours after driving the wrong way on the highway. Noel displayed indicators of impairment and refused to perform any sobriety tests. During the investigation, Noel lied to officers about his identity. Noel was later found to have two outstanding warrants from Phillipsburg New Jersey. Noel was arrested and charged with DWI, refusal to submit to breath testing and other related traffic offenses. Noel was also charged criminally with hindering (his own) apprehension and obstruction of justice. Noel was released from custody to a family member. Investigation and arrest completed by Patrolman Anderson.
The filing of charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
