Flood Advisory until 07:30AM 
The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a
* Small Stream Flood Advisory for... Southeastern Fayette County in south central Illinois... Northeastern Marion County in south central Illinois...
* Until 730 AM CDT.
* At 229 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
* Expect minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Additionally, water over roadways will be possible.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Kinmundy, Farina, Stephen Forbes Station, La Clede, St. Peter, Alma and St. Paul. Another round of moderate to heavy rain will move over the advisory area between 300 AM and 400 AM. This may cause additional flooding.
* AFFECTED AREAS: FAYETTE, IL ... MARION, IL
Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
