What a great afternoon!
Friday afternoon, August 6th, officers of the Jackson Police Department got an opportunity to spend time with the kiddos of Jackson Christian School's pre-school program at Campbell Street Church of Christ.
The kids and officers played ball, hula-hooped, and chased each other around. The kids had an opportunity to interact with the helicopter from the Aviation Unit, they had an opportunity to interact with a Camaro from the Traffic Unit, and they had an opportunity to interact with Jackson Police's latest addition of a F-150 from the Patrol Division.
Sergeant Cobb along with other members of his team grilled hotdogs for the kids. Chief Wiser said he was grateful for the opportunity to interact with the kids and build relationships. Jackson Police would like to send a special "thanks" to Mrs Angela Parks for the partnership in making this happen.
