FEMA EAS and WEA Tests Tomorrow - August 11th at 2:20 PM 
FEMA will be conducting a test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and the Wireless Emergency Alert (WEA) system tomorrow afternoon, August 11th.
FEMA, partnering with the Federal Communication Commission, will conduct a national test of the Emergency Alert System and Wireless Emergency Alert with radio, TV, cable stations, and wireless cellular carriers at 2:20 PM Eastern Time on August 11, 2021.
The EAS/WEA test is expected to last around one minute and will confirm the ability of these systems to deliver a nationwide message.
