Janesville man arrested with drugs and gun

On 8/11/2021 at 10:20 p.m. a Janesville police officer saw Damon C. Hill at the Kwik Trip, 2518 W. Court St. The officer knew Hill had outstanding arrest warrants through the Janesville Police Department as well as fresh domestic violence charges. The officer arrested Hill on those warrants and charges. A search of Hill and his vehicle after the arrest revealed marijuana and cash on his person. Inside the vehicle officers located multiple bags of marijuana, a black ski mask, and a digital scale. Under the driver’s seat was a Glock handgun with ammunition in the magazine. Hill currently has an open court case and was out on bond conditions. One of his bond conditions stated he may not possess any firearms. Hill does not have a concealed carry permit. Hill was processed at the police department and taken to the Rock County Jail.
