The brush dump will be open for disposal of brush and yard/vegetative waste from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. this Saturday, August 14th.  Borough residents are permitted to dispose of unlimited amounts of brush and yard/vegetative waste at the brush dump during these hours.  The brush dump is located behind the Wastewater Treatment Plant off of Richard W. Thompson, Jr. Way:

Please follow all regulations for brush disposal with regard to length (not more than 4') and diameter (not more than 4").  No stumps, dirt or rocks and no plastic bags of any kind.  Grass, leaves and small loose sticks may be dumped from resuable containers or placed in kraft paper bags.  Kraft paper bags are the only type of bags which will be accepted.  Please follow any and all instructions given by the supervising Department of Public Works personnel.  NO COMMERCIAL VEHICLES OF ANY KIND WILL BE PERMITTED TO ACCESS THE BRUSH DUMP!!!  Finally, E-waste (computers, laptops, printers, fax machines, and TVs/monitors) will also be accepted-follow instructions given by DPW for disposal.
