INCIDENT: PC 288A – Lewd and Lascivious Acts with Child Under 14
LOCATION: 10700 block of Poplar St, Loma Linda
SUSPECT(S): Stanley Watts, 62-year-old resident of Loma Linda
VICTIM(S): 12-year-old female
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, July 29, 2020, detectives from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Specialized Investigations Division, Crimes Against Children (CAC) Detail were contacted by Sheriff’s Central Station, reference an investigation regarding sexual abuse. Through the investigation, detectives identified Stanley Watts as the suspect. Detectives discovered the victim was sexually abused, while in the care of Stanley Watts.
At the conclusion of the investigation, detectives arrested Watts. He was booked into the Central Detention Center in San Bernardino for violation of PC 288A lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14 with a bail of $25,0000,000.
