8-13-2021 Murder Investigation Update (2):
Andrew Franklin Hodge has been in arrested in Florida.
Hodge was wanted for the murder of Thomas Liebel.
Hodge will soon be extradited back to Rutherford County.

On July 27, 2021 deputies with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office responded to 150 Candy Turf in Forest City reference to a shooting.
When deputies arrived they found Thomas Liebel (33) deceased from a gunshot wound.
Detectives with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office responded and started an investigation. After further investigation, and consulting with the Rutherford County District Attorney’s Office, warrants were issued on Andrew Franklin Hodge for shooting into an occupied dwelling and murder.
Hodge has not been arrested on these charges.
