Search Warrant served at Janesville residence 
On Tuesday August 17th at 1:30 PM the Janesville Police Department SWAT team with assistance from the Beloit Police Department SWAT team served a search warrant at 1112 W. Wall St. The warrant service was a result of a criminal investigation regarding an alleged sexual assault which was reported to the Janesville Police Department during the afternoon of August 16th. Early information suggested the suspects involved may have been armed during the assault. The warrant was served without incident and no subjects were found inside the home after SWAT searched the residence. It is still early in the investigation and more information may be released at a later time.
