One Hurt in Motorcycle Crash 
Sheriff Richard J. Behnke of the Cass County Sheriff's Office reports that his office responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Marcellus Hwy and Twin Lakes Rd in Wayne Twp, Cass County MI. This crash occurred on 8-18-21 at 0755. 29-year-old Kasey Proshwitz of Dowagiac was traveling eastbound on his motorcycle when 55-year-old Tony Danneffel also from Dowagiac traveling southbound on Twin Lakes Rd, began to enter the intersection. Danneffel stated that Proshwitz was in a blind spot, and he did not see him. Proshwitz moved to avoid Danneffer and lost control of his motorcycle laying it down in the intersection.
Assisting at the scene was Dowagiac Fire and Police. Pride Care Ambulance transported Proshwitz to Ascension Borgess-Lee Hospital in Dowagiac for his injuries. Alcohol was not a factor and Proshwitz was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
