Last night (8/17/2021) around 10pm, officers responded to a disturbance call reportedly involving a knife. Upon arrival, officers found one person on the ground with stab wounds in the 1000 block of Oliver Rd. Officers attempted life saving efforts, but the victim succumbed to his injuries on scene. The victim is a 36 year old male from Vacaville.
Detectives were called out and have taken over the investigation. Detectives have interviewed witnesses and our CSI has processed the scene for evidence. The investigation is still active with a number leads being followed up on. We will update information when appropriate, but no other information can be released at this time.
