The Barefoot Country Music Festival starts today at 6pm. 
The gates to the Barefoot Country Music Festival will open to ticket holders today at 6pm. The Wildwood Police Department has been preparing for this historic event for several months. We are working with multiple agencies across the State of New Jersey to make sure that this is a safe and secure event. We ask all attendees of the concert to enjoy the festival but also be responsible. Please follow the rule and polices of the event (see link below) and also be vigilant to any suspicious behavior. If you see something say something, there will be multiple uniform police officers assigned to the event. Our police department’s non-emergency line is (609) 522-0222.
To alleviate parking issues please use the Concert Drop off location at 3505 Atlantic Avenue when using transportation services such as Uber and Lyft. Also expect traffic congestion when entering the island this weekend. There will be approximately 25,000 people attending the event each day which will be in addition to the regular visitors that come onto the island during summer weekend.
