Ramsey Tropical Storm/ Hurricane Henri Update The Borough of Ramsey Local Emergency Planning Committee has met to prepare for this upcoming storm. Assets have been prepped and pre-deployed in preparation. Emergency services have been notified and are standing by. Orange and Rockland Electric has also made emergency preparations. To contact O & R Electric, do not call the police department. Police department lines must stay open for emergencies. At this time the worst of the storm is forecasted for Long Island, NY. In Ramsey we are forecasted as follows: expect 2-3” of rain daytime tomorrow into the evening. Winds with gusts to 33 MPH are possible tomorrow with the highest winds forecasted for tomorrow evening. Maintain your situational awareness as any change in the storm track to the West or to the East could change the local storm effects significantly.
