Green Bay Police Investigate West-Side Shooting
On 08-21-19 at approximately 9:18am, officers from the Green Bay Police Department were sent to the 100 block of Perkins Avenue for a report of male firing a handgun. Witnesses reported that a male had fired at least one shot from outside of an apartment building. Other males were seen running from that same location.
Officers canvassed the area and did not locate any victims. The suspect was no longer on scene and is thought to have fled from the area prior to police arrival. The only description of the suspect was a shirtless male. Once officers collected evidence and ensured the area was safe, the scene was cleared. The investigation is ongoing.
