Michael Deane Arrested for Burglary

LOCATION: 23000 Block of Lake Drive, Crestline CA 92325
SUSPECT(S): Michael Zaire Deane, 29-year-old resident of Crestline
VICTIM(S): The Goods, shop in the community of Crestline
SUMMARY: On Saturday, August 14, 2021, deputies from the Twin Peaks Sheriff Station conducted a burglary investigation at The Goods, a business in the community of Crestline. Deputies discovered the suspect entered the business and stole over $1,000 worth of items and United States currency. During the investigation, deputies identified the suspect as Michael Deane.
Through investigation, deputies recovered some of the stolen property, which was returned to the victims.
An arrest warrant was issued for Deane's arrest for burglary. On August 17, 2021, Deane was arrested in Joshua Tree National Park and was booked in at the Morongo Jail.
