Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding an attempted murder shooting of a man. The incident was reported Sunday, August 22, 2021, at approximately 1:09 a.m., on the 1400 block of East Alondra Boulevard in Compton.
Compton Station deputies responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call. When they arrived, they discovered a man on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim, male Black 40 years-old, was transported to a local hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
