The need for blood continues to remain high, and your donation could help save a life! Through partnership with City of Hope, residents are able to donate at the Duarte Community Center (1600 Huntington Drive) on Wednesday, August 25 from 11 AM to 5 PM. 

Appointments are necessary. 

Donors must:

•_Bring a valid photo ID to the blood drive.

•_ Be in good health the day of the drive  - No COVID-19, cold or flu-like symptoms.

•_ Eat a healthy meal/snack and drink plenty of water before donating.

Do NOT donate if you:

•_Have been diagnosed with, or are suspected of having, COVID-19 with in the past 14 days

•_Have not been fully vaccinated and live with someone, or have been in close contact with someone, who has tested positive or is suspected of having COVID-19 within the past 14 days. Otherwise, a COVID-19 vaccination is not required to donate.

Vaccination Update: We are now able to accept donors who have received the Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine with no deferral period.

Donors who have been FULLY VACCINATED with a Food and Drug Administration-authorized COVID-19 vaccine (at least two weeks from the last required

dose of vaccine) can donate blood at any time, despite being exposed to COVID-19, if the donors do not have any COVID-19 symptoms.

All City of Hope blood drives are socially distanced collection sites and are not mass gatherings.
