On 05-21-2021 shortly before 5:00pm, Vigo County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a rollover crash on St Rd 42 near the Clay County line. A Maroon Chevy pickup driven by a 17yr old Trevor Buckley of Russiaville, IN; was traveling west bound on State Road 42 when for an unknown reason his truck left the northside of the roadway. Trevor attempted to correct this, however overcorrected, causing the truck roll over and go into a ditch, breaking the truck into several pieces. Trevor,the sole occupant was ejected from the truck. Trevor was unfortunately pronounced deceased at the scene. At this point in the investigation, it doesn't appear that Trevor was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident and alcohol or drugs do not appear to be a factor.
