Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man. The incident was reported Monday, August 23, 2021, at approximately 8:00 p.m., on the 1000 block of Hacienda Heights Boulevard in La Puente.
Industry Station deputies responded to the location regarding an assault with a deadly weapon, gunshot victim call for service. When they arrived, they found a man sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle that was parked on the street, suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the upper body.
The victim, male Hispanic 48 years-old, was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
There’s no suspect information available at this time.
