LOCATION: 12700 block of Standing Bear Road in the Town of Apple Valley
SUSPECT(S): Julie Pena, a 39-year-old resident of Apple Valley
Christine Salgado, a 50-year-old resident of Apple Valley
SUMMARY: On Monday, August 23, 2021, deputies from the Apple Valley Police Department served a search warrant at a residence in the 12700 block of Standing Bear Road. Deputy C. Dare authored the search warrant.
During the execution of the search warrant, deputies located a large amount of PCP, methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. In addition to the drugs, firearm parts, a bulletproof vest, handcuffs, a police hat, and a baton were discovered.
Pena and Salgado, who reside at the residence, were arrested and booked into The High Desert Detention Center for possession of a controlled substance for sale and maintaining a drug house.
