The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a
* Flood Advisory for... Central Seminole County in east central Florida... South Central Volusia County in east central Florida...
* Until 845 PM EDT.
* At 722 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Deltona, Sanford, Winter Springs, Casselberry, Lake Mary, Orange City, Lake Helen, DeBary, Geneva, Osteen, Lake Monroe, Sanford Airport, Enterprise, Valdez and Cassadaga. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
* AFFECTED AREAS: SEMINOLE, FL ... VOLUSIA, FL
