INCIDENT: PC 215(A) - Carjacking
LOCATION: 11800 block of Mt Vernon Avenue, Grand Terrace

VICTIM(S): 26 year old female
SUMMARY: On Monday, August 23, 2021, at approximately 1:06 p.m., deputies from Central Station responded to a reported carjacking in the 11800 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue, in the city of Grand Terrace. The victim reported she was physically assaulted by three male suspects. The suspects pushed her to the ground and stole her vehicle.
Detectives contacted On-Star who activated the vehicle’s GPS. With the assistance of Sheriff's Aviation, Detectives located the vehicle in the city of San Bernardino. Three suspects were detained as they attempted to enter the vehicle.
All three suspects were taken into custody without incident and were found to be juveniles. They were subsequently arrested for PC 215(A) – Carjacking, and PC 182(A)(1) – Conspiracy to commit a felony. All three suspects were booked at San Bernardino County Juvenile Hall without bail.
