* Flood Advisory for... Calhoun County in south central Michigan... Jackson County in south central Michigan... Kalamazoo County in southwestern Michigan... Van Buren County in southwestern Michigan...
* Until 730 AM EDT Wednesday.
* At 738 PM EDT, Radar shows thunderstorms with heavy rain moving toward the advisory area from northern Illinois. These storms will train across the advisory area this evening. Minor flooding expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Kalamazoo, Portage, Jackson, Albion, Marshall, Battle Creek, South Haven, Paw Paw, Eastwood, Springfield, Vicksburg, Hartford, Galesburg, Mattawan, Lawton, Bangor, Decatur, Parchment, Homer and Schoolcraft.
* AFFECTED AREAS: CALHOUN, MI ... JACKSON, MI ... KALAMAZOO, MI ... VAN BUREN, MI
Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
