NARRATIVE:         On August 20, 2021 patrol was called to an address in the Wayside section of the township for a stolen motor vehicle.  Ptl. Kolodziej arrived on scene to take the report of the missing Acura.  Ptl. Kolodziej was able to relay some pertinent information to Detectives Walker and Legg, who subsequently located the vehicle in Long Branch.  After processing the vehicle it was returned to the owner.  

     Detective Walker’s investigation led to the arrest of Lucas Messias De Castro, an 18 year old male, of Long Branch.  Mr, Messias De Castro was charged with burglary and two counts of theft.  He was released on a summons pending a future court date.
