On 8/24/21, at approximately 11:50 PM, the Sheboygan Police and Sheboygan Fire Departments responded to a residence in the 1000 block of Greenfield Avenue in Sheboygan for a report of a person in crisis . A 55 year old woman was transported to the hospital for medical care for a gunshot wound. The woman did not survive her injuries and passed away. At this point the investigation into the circumstances of what occurred remains under investigation and an autopsy is planned for Friday. Nobody has been arrested for criminal charges relating to this event. We do not believe that there is any danger to the community.
