The City of Bainbridge Island, in partnership with Bainbridge Prepares, the Bainbridge Island Fire Department, and the Bainbridge Island Community Pharmacy is offering a third dose COVID vaccine clinic scheduled on Saturday, August 28 from 9 AM - 5 PM for individuals who meet the CDC and State definition of immunocompromised. This includes people who have:

• Been receiving active cancer treatment for tumors or cancers of the blood
• Received an organ transplant and are taking medicine to suppress the immune system
• Received a stem cell transplant within the last 2 years or are taking medicine to suppress the immune system
• Moderate or severe primary immunodeficiency (such as DiGeorge syndrome, Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome)
• Advanced or untreated HIV infection
• Active treatment with high-dose corticosteroids or other drugs that may suppress your immune response

You must have received your second dose of either Moderna or Pfizer more than four weeks ago. Individuals who received the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) COVID vaccine are not currently eligible for a booster. 

This clinic will be held at the Bainbridge Island Senior Community Center located at 370 Brien Drive SE, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110. Appointments are open and available to book online here: COVID-19 Vaccination Schedule (https://covidbi.timetap.com/#/) 

Appointments for the afternoon are released first and then if they fill up, morning appointments will be opened up. There are also a limited number of Moderna and Pfizer first and second dose appointments available. 

We continue to monitor State and Federal guidance on recommendations for booster doses for the general public and we anticipate holding booster clinics beginning in late September.
