The National Weather Service in Morristown has issued a

* Flood Advisory for... Northeastern Sullivan County in east Tennessee... Southwestern Washington County in southwestern Virginia... The City of Bristol in southwestern Virginia...

* Until 830 PM EDT.

* At 531 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Bristol Tn, Bristol Va, Walnut Hill, South Holston Dam, Hilander Park, Harr and Blountville.

* AFFECTED AREAS: SULLIVAN, TN ... WASHINGTON, VA ... CITY OF BRISTOL, VA

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
