City of San Jose– PG&E is working to cap a natural gas leak on Race Street between Park Street and Eugene Ave in San Jose. They have an estimated time of completion at midnight tonight. Shelter is available for those who need it at the Bascom Community Center located at 1000 South Bascom Avenue. There are an estimated 325 addresses evacuated at this time with approximately 30 of those addresses currently without gas. PG&E may reduce the evacuation area in the near future.
