UPDATE: Child’s mother found. Child was returned to mother and what occurred. 
FOUND CHILD: At approximately 0300 hours, Eastpointe Police Officers were dispatched to the area of Valley and 10 Mile in Eastpointe for a young child walking down the street. Upon arrival, officers found a black male approximately 2-3 years old wearing only a diaper and oversized rainbow Crocs. The child was transported to the police station and CPS was contacted. Officers went door to door in the area in an attempt to locate the parents or guardians with negative results.
