Advisory
Trucks are clearly marked as mosquito control vehicles. Applications are limited and targeted to areas of high populations of nuisance and West Nile virus positive mosquitoes. Due to the ultra-low volume technology, residential exposure is very low. If residents prefer to stay inside and close windows and doors when spraying takes place they can, out of an abundance of precaution, but it is not necessary. The spray does not harm pets, but residents may choose to bring them inside while the spraying occurs.
Residents can call the Warren County Mosquito Commission with questions at: (908) 453-3585. More information can also be found at: http://www.warrencountymosquito.com/adulticide.php.
