Janesville man arrested in Beloit for domestic violence incident that occurred in Janesville 
| On 08/26/2021 at 11:30 p.m. officers were dispatched to the report of a physical domestic violence incident in the 1500 block of Mole Avenue. The suspect was gone when officers arrived. The victim required medical attention. The suspect was Identified as Gregory X. Ashford. Ashford was later believed to be in a residence on Highland Avenue in the City of Beloit. A perimeter was established. Beloit and Janesville SWAT responded. After several hours, Ashford surrendered and was taken into custody. He was processed at the Janesville Police Department and turned over to the Rock County Jail. Ashford is currently on felony probation for Burglary to a dwelling and Possession with intent to deliver heroin. Arrested: Gregory Xavier Ashford 29-year-old male. Janesville resident Charge: Substantial Battery 940.19(2) Charge: Criminal Damage to Property 943.01(1) Charge: Physical Abuse to a Child 948.03(2)(b) 2 counts Incident Number: JV2143310 |
