Flood Advisory until 09:15AM

The National Weather Service in Blacksburg has issued a

* Flood Advisory for... Greenbrier County in southeastern West Virginia...

* Until 915 AM EDT.

* At 320 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms that had developed from Renick, to Frankford, Lewisburg, . Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in Lewisburg, White Sulphur Springs, Rainelle, and Rupert. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen and additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is likely during the next couple of hours.

* The ground in this region is saturated. Additional heavy rainfall will quickly result in runoff into area creeks and streams. Minor flooding is likely.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Rainelle... Rupert... Quinwood... Renick... Neola... Falling Spring... Trout... This includes the following streams and drainages... Boggs Run, Burdette Creek, Burns Run, Anthony Creek, Cold Knob Fork, Brushy Lick, Boggs Creek, Big Run, Boulder Run, Big Clear Creek, Beech Run, Back Creek and Beaver Creek. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

* AFFECTED AREAS: GREENBRIER, WV
