SUSPECT(S): Antonio Heriberto Galindo, 41-year-old male, resident of Rancho Cucamonga

VICTIM(S): Confidential

SUMMARY: On Friday, August 27, 2021, investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Crimes Against Children (CAC) Detail, conducted an investigation regarding Antonio Heriberto Galindo, a 41-year-old male, resident of Rancho Cucamonga, who sexually molested a 16-year-old female in the city of Rancho Cucamonga. It was later determined Galindo was a law enforcement officer in the Los Angeles area. Galindo also coached girls’ softball teams.
On Saturday, August 28, 2021, at the conclusion of the investigation, Galindo was arrested and booked into the Central Detention Center for violation of PC 288.3(a) - Contact a minor with intent for sex, PC 287(b)(1) - Oral copulation with person under 18, PC 289(a)(1)(a) - Sexual penetration against the victim's will by force, violence, duress, menace, or fear. Galindo is being held with a bail of $100,000.
