The heaviest rain is expected late Wednesday afternoon through the evening hours.
If you see a flooded roadway DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH IT, the water may be deeper than it appears.
If you live in a flood-prone area or are susceptible to basement flooding, prepare now by elevating valuables off of the floor. Make sure your gutters are clear and draining properly away from your residence. If you can assist the Borough and are able to, please take a look at your closest storm drain and see if it is clear of leaves and other debris.
If you see any kind of wire hanging low or down on the ground from a utility pole, do not approach it! It may be a live electric line. Contact 911 and our First Responders will assess the situation and make the proper notifications.
