LEVEL 1 EVAC : RD 13-NW FROM ADAMS RD N TO RD J.8-NW - WILDFIRE

#MonumentHillFire2021 – Homes that were under a Level 3 notice are now under LEVEL 1 NOTICE (maintain awareness of changing conditions). Residents may return to their homes but are asked to maintain situational awareness and be ready to leave again if necessary.

The fire is contained and under control. It has burned about 150 acres of sage and grass. No structures have been damaged as far as we know. The cause is under investigation. Firefighters will be on the scene through today and probably tomorrow.

Agencies cooperating: Grant County fire districts 3, 5 and 13, Ephrata Fire Department, Moses Lake Fire Department, US Bureau of Land Management, Royal Slope Fire, Quincy Police Department, and the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
