The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has issued a

* Tornado Warning for... Northeastern Anne Arundel County in central Maryland...

* Until 300 PM EDT.

* At 227 PM EDT, a tornado producing storm was located over Arnold, moving north at 30 mph. HAZARD...Damaging tornado. SOURCE...Radar confirmed tornado. IMPACT...For those in the direct path of a tornado touchdown, flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Damage to roofs, siding, and windows may occur. Mobile homes may be damaged or destroyed. Tree damage is likely.

* This tornadic storm will be near... Arnold around 235 PM EDT. Lake Shore around 240 PM EDT. Riviera Beach and Fort Smallwood State Park around 245 PM EDT.

* AFFECTED AREAS: ANNE ARUNDEL, MD
