Two Suspects Arrested After Vandalizing a Vehicle in Fontana

LOCATION: 8200 Block of Cherry Avenue, Fontana
SUSPECT(S): Victor Felix-Gonzalez, 21-years-old, resident of Fontana and Andrew Garcia, 20-years-old, resident of Bloomington
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, September 1, 2021, a resident called 9-1-1 to report two subjects vandalizing his vehicle parked in front of his home. Deputy Arroyo from the Fontana Sheriff's Station responded and attempted to locate the subjects responsible; however, they fled the area in an older model tan Suburban prior to his arrival. Deputy Arroyo continued his investigation and spoke to residents in the area who were able to provide video that captured the incident.
Deputy Arroyo developed strong leads that led to the location of the two subjects involved. They were identified as Victor Felix-Gonzalez and Andrew Garcia and taken into custody without incident.
Both suspects caused a significant amount of damage to the victim's vehicle by slashing the tires and hitting it with a bat. They were both transported to the West Valley Detention Center and booked for felony vandalism and conspiracy to commit a crime.
