8200 block Santa Monica Blvd
08/23/2021 @ 0538. A man acted as a lookout while another man smashed a window to gain access and removed $200 from the cash register. The suspect also removed items from a display area. #03485
Armed Robbery (Estes) (Suspect Arrested)
7100 block Santa Monica Blvd
08/23/2021 @ 1320. A man removed several items from display areas and took the items to the bathroom and concealed them in his backpack. The suspect was approached by store security and asked to return the items. The suspect held a box cutter in his hand and threatened to kill the victim. The suspect was allowed to leave and was located and arrested by responding deputies. #03496

Aggravated Assault - Hands, Fist, Feet (Suspect Arrested)
8500 block Santa Monica Blvd
08/24/2021 @ 2045. A man was walking on the sidewalk when a man asked him for money and he declined and turned to walk away. The suspect approached the victim from behind and struck him several times on his head with the metal portion of a shovel that was detached from the handle. The suspect was located and arrested by responding deputies. The victim suffered cuts to his head and was transported to the hospital. #03516

08/24/2021 @ 2152. A man was urinating in the parking lot when a security guard asked him to stop. The suspect became upset and spit on victim. The suspect returned to his vehicle and struck the victim with his vehicle as he was driving away. #03517

08/24/2021 @ 0115. A man was walking SB on Harper Avenue when a vehicle pulled to a stop next to him and a man exited the passenger’s side of the vehicle while armed with a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The victim ran from the area. #03503

08/24/2021 @ 0317. Two men were standing near their vehicle in the valet area when four men approached them while armed with a handgun and demanded their property and they complied. #03504

08/26/2021 @ 0620-0700. A man smashed the front door to gain access and searched the cash registers but they were empty. The suspect took spare change from a tip jar. #03543

8400 block Fountain Avenue
08/27/2021 @ 0306. A man and a woman used a tool to unlock the front gate and then walked throughout the property looking for mail packages. The suspects opened one mail package but left it the ground. #03577
Armed Robbery (Suspect Arrested)
8400 block Fountain Avenue
08/27/2021 @ 0410. Three men were standing on the street next to their vehicle when two men approached them while armed with handguns and demanded their property. The victims ran in different directions and shots were fired. One suspect followed one of the victims to a nearby apartment building and a struggle for possession of the handgun ensued, during which the victim and the suspect were both shot in the leg and several shots were fired into the building wall. One gang member from Inglewood, CA was located and arrested by responding deputies. The second suspect escaped. All three victims suffered gunshot wounds and were transported to the hospital. #03558

Strong Arm Robbery (Estes)
400 block Robertson Blvd
08/28/2021 @ 1745. A man removed several items from a display area and left the store without payment. When confronted outside the store by store security, a struggle ensued and the security guard retained possession of the merchandise and took it back inside the store. The suspect then ran back into the store and removed a jacket from a display area and fled the area on foot. #03573

900 block Harper Avenue
08/28/2021 @ 2255. Two women and a man were walking NB on Harper Avenue on the east sidewalk when three men approached them while armed with a handgun S1 and demanded their property and they complied. #03580
Vehicle Burglary
900 block Fairfax Avenue
08/28/2021 @ 1200-1450. An unknown suspect removed a sweater from the back seat and two pairs of shoes from the trunk. The vehicle was with a valet service then the items were taken. No sign of forced entry. #03572
August 29th
Grand Theft
8200 block De Longpre Avenue
08/29/2021 @ 0130. An unknown suspect removed a bicycle from the sidewalk after it was left unattended by the victim. #03583
Other Burglary
500 block Orlando Avenue
08/29/2021 @ 2300. A woman pried to front gate open to gain access and went to the sub parking garage. The suspect was using bolt cutters and attempting to steal a bicycle when a resident confronted her and told her to leave. #03600
